Our “High-performance Hydrogen Storage Alloy Materials for Power Batteries” is the sole product in China passing the Certification of Batteries Materials For HEV and in mass usage of the Ni/MH batteries for EV. It will be edging out imported foreign materials by offering quality ones for the development of new energy power batteries in China and substantially promotes the localization process of domestic automotive industry. The application of this product has great significance in reducing environmental pollution, decreasing dependence of oil, developing the environmental protection industry, promoting the cycle economy.

In december 2011, our project of “The Industrialization of High-Performance and Low-Price Hydrogen Storage Alloy Materials for Power Batteries” has received the budget supporting of “Special Projects in Promoting the Transfer of Existing Scientific and Technological Achievements into Productivity of Haidian District”. It is learned that the purpose of this project is further developing the combination of production-study-research, quickening the transfer of the achievements into productivity, improving the tech-innovative capabilities of enterprises, promoting the transformation and upgrading of economic development.

Hydrogen storage alloy is the product of the intensive processing of rare-earth. The export of the raw materials of rare-earth in China now is restricted. The implementation of the project is undoubtedly helpful to enlarge domestic demand, promote job creation, raise auto-industry level, expand our export, accelerate GDP growth, increase nation taxes, and receive win-win achievement.

To improve the level of independent research, we constantly strengthen cooperation with colleges and other enterprises and get great achievements of the combination of production-study-research. We have established a Key Laboratory of Materials for Energy Conversion through cooperation with State Key Laboratory for Advanced Metals and Materials of University of Science & Technology Beijing to quicken the transfer of the achievements into productivity and improve the tech-innovative capabilities of our enterprise. We also have closely collaborated with Zhejiang University and Beijing Institute of Technology in the technical field.

Simultaneously, we have cooperated with the upstream and downstream enterprises within the industry to ensure continuity of rare-earth material supplies and realize seamless connection of production & market. The combination of production-study-research has laid the foundation for the demonstrative base of our industrialization of hydrogen storage alloy for power batteries. It is conducive to establish strategic business partner relationship between us and other enterprises, and promote the development of Chinese new energy auto-mobile industry.
