After succeeding in developing the large capacity hydrogen storage alloy and supplying it to the market in enormous quantities, our company succeeds in developing the high power hydrogen storage alloy, which has been supported by the technology innovation fund of Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China. Through more than two years’ hard work of the technical staff of our company, the project is smoothly passed the acceptance checking presided over by the expert panel of Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission on March 22, 2002. It is indicated in the conclusion of acceptance checking that “ it has been realized the innovation of the production technology in this project product with the steady performance and good consistency, and the remarkable benefits of both society and economy have been achieved in the field of high power batteries.” The 1C discharge capacity of the product is no less than 300mAh/g, the 5C discharge capacity is 90% or more of that of 1C discharge, the 10C discharge capacity is 80% or more of that of 1C discharge. The cycle life of 1C charge and discharge is more than 800 times, and the cycle life of 15C discharge is more than 200 times. So the performance of the product is in the leading competence at home. The project product has passed the measuring of many authoritative organizations such as the National Engineering Development Center of High Technology Advanced Energy Storage Materials, and it is guaranteed to meet the demand of the production of high quality and high power MH/Ni batteries. The product has obtained unanimous favorable comment of many research institutions and manufacturing enterprises of motive force batteries, and has already been supplied to the domestic and international markets in batches. The product is highly evaluated by China Industrial Association of Power Sources in these words, " the achievement of this project has impetuses to the developing MH/Ni batteries in our country ".
