In view of the healthy and fast development and wide prospect of our company, a few days ago, for the project, "the development of the light-weight hydrogen storage containers used in the fuel cells of electric automobiles", our company gets the energetical support of Zhongguancun Science Park, and obtains financial fund appropriation. The power is the bottleneck to influence the practical application of electric automobiles. The fuel cell is the fundamental solution of the power of electric automobiles, and the hydrogen source of the fuel cell is the key technology for its practical application. Implementation of this project will solve the problem of low specific weight capacity of the hydrogen storage containers, greatly promote the application process of fuel cells and other portable hydrogen storage devices. The product of this project uses the light-weight, high capacity hydrogen storage alloys, can greatly reduce the weight of the hydrogen source of fuel cells, offer the related scheme of the hydrogen source of fuel cells for great project on electric automobiles of our country in time, promote the settlement of the key engineering problems of automobiles powered by fuel cells, perfect the key link on the electric automobile industry chain, and promote the application of electric automobiles in Beijing Olympic Games 2008 and Shanghai World Expo 2010. There are great meanings for the great-leap-forward development of the auto industry and relevant industries of our country, avoiding the excessive reliance on the petroleum, fostering the environmental protection industry, reducing the environment pollution.
