The China Materials Conference which was sponsored by the Chinese Institute of materials research, and Taiyuan University of Technology was held in Shanxi Taiyuan on July 14-18, 2012. The conference has been held 12 times since 1992, become the China "brand conference" in the material field. The research is a wide range of areas involving energy and environmental materials, functional and electronic materials, high-performance structural materials, materials simulation, safety and evaluation etc. Vice chairman of China Association for science and technology, chairman of Chinese Materials Research Society Huang Boyun, China Institute for materials research consultant Zhou Lian were attended by more than 10 academicians, more than 1.600 materials science scholars and experts took part in the conference.

Our company general manager Zhang Peilong participated by invitation of committee and made the special report entitled “the application and development of Ni-H power battery which used in electric vehicle” in advanced energy materials and technology branch. We compared the domestic electric vehicle power battery, illustrated the application of nickel-hydrogen battery, predicted the development direction of Ni-MH battery in the report. The report is rich in content, detailed data available. It can provide reference for experts、scholars、professors and researcher who engaged in the development and industrialization of advanced energy materials and technology research, The personnel seriously listened to my company report, also had a great interest in the content of the report, the heated discussion also aims at the development of nickel-hydrogen battery problem.
